At our nursery we have the use of two gardens, which has a selection of out side toys and activities. The children play outside regularly so they can explore the gardens. The outdoor cars and bikes help develop a child’s understanding of sharing taking turns as well as providing the opportunity to 'practice their driving skills.' The children can join in many planned outdoor activities such as treasure hunts and picnics.

All children need a time in the day when they can let off steam and the garden is the ideal environment. But sometimes it is important for a child just to sit and study the sky!
