Lynwood Day Nursery - Pre-school group

We are registered to accept the nursery grants to which your child will be entitled the term after their 3 rd birthday.
The grant subsidies up to five sessions a week and the nursery will claim this grant on your behalf. This will in turn reduce your fees.
Children in the pre school group will be working on a well established educational program which has been examined and assessed by Ofsted,who in their last report said that 'children are confident and motivated to learn...and making good progress towards the early learning goals.'


	We are working towards the same educational goals as children who attend mainstream schools for their grant sessions. However, we work with a much smaller staffing ratio. Schools will normally have a 1:13 staffing ratio whilst we operate with a 1:8 ratio. With our sessions being much longer and without the rigid drop off and pickup times of a school we can take a balanced approach to your child’s learning. You will be able to study our weekly planning which is overseen by one of the nurseries proprietors who is a qualified teacher with many years experience.
